All of our discounts are exclusive to NUS Extra cardholders, so you won’t be able to access any of these great deals without our little green card. It's guaranteed to save you, the student, a load of cash.

Once you have registered online you will receive an email shortly to confirm that your NUS card has been delivered to the University Centre. Once this has arrived please pop into the Student Union Office to pick up your card and then you can start spending.

PASS is the government accreditated scheme for proof of age, operating as the only nationally recognised proof of age scheme alongside passport and driving licenses.

If your union is offering NUS Extra you will be required to go through the online verification process as part of the application process, which will require you to enter either your passport or driving license number. You must collect your card from your union and take your passport or driving license (whichever you used to order the card) with you as you will need to show it on collection. To turn your NUS card into a PASS card, this will cost an additional £6.

A PASS accredited proof-of-age card will have the following:

–        Date of birth

–        Full name

–        A passport standard photograph

–        An image of the holder’s signature

–        A PASS hologram

If you have a PASS card and it is refused by a retailer you should contact the company that issued your card with the following information:
• The name and address of the outlet or venue where you were refused
• The day
• The date
• The time

This information will help your card issuer contact the venue and find out why the card was refused. This card refusal form will ensure you complete the necessary information that will help the card issuer follow up your enquiry. Please ask SU Liaison officer for the card refusal form.
